WiFi syncing seems disabled on iOS based iPad2 handset

When I tried syncing WiFi from my iOS based iPad2 handset, it seems like the syncing option is disabled on the device. How can I check whether the option is enabled or disabled on the device?

The iPad device has to be first connected to your system. Followed by that, you will have to launch the iTunes on it. Your iPad needs to be chosen from the iTunes window of the device. After that you have to navigate to the Summary tab on the device screen. Next thing you should do is to get into the ‘Options’ section. You will be able to see the "Sync with this iOS device over Wi-Fi" option there. There is a checkbox that is shown next to the option which is meant for enabling and disabling the option. If the checkbox is not selected, you can mark it and tap on apply option to enable it.
