Where does iTunes stores the saved history files of Safari after a backup?

When i connect my iPad to the PC and synce it via iTunes and perform the backup, it shows "Saving safari browsing history". However, i didn't realize it. Is there anyone, who knows, where does iTunes store the backed up files on PC. Many people say that, it stores these data in cookies. Do you know the right answer?
