The network settings will be provided by the mobile network provider when you take a data plan from them. Operators usually send these settings by message. You just need to save these settings and data connectivity will be triggered automatically. These settings help in the proper usage of most of the applications on the iPad. The most important network setting is the Access point. This is setting which shows the gateway that is used by the iPad to communicate with the network provider. The other settings are used or MMS services and voice mail services. There are other settings too for particular apps that are provided by the network operator. The app like weather information, stock alerts and navigational apps are also provided by the network operator.
