Re: What is Lock symbol in WiFi network in iPad2?

A lock symbol near to WiFi network in your iPad2 symbolizes that your connection is secured. No third party access is permitted in such WiFi connections. You need to give a password for accessing such networks. If there is no lock symbol in the network, then the connection is not at all secured. So it is highly recommended that you authenticate your WiFi connection so as to prevent unauthorized access. WEP password used with such connection includes numbers only. But the WPA password used is an alphanumeric type.

    Hello sir,

    apple_ipad_2_with_wifi_3g_16gb_Softech Guru.jpg

Lock symbol indicates that your WiFi access is secure. No one can use it without
your permission. If somebody tries to connect to your WiFi network then that machine has to
go through security checks like password and username.

So i suggest you that , you should use secure WiFi access.

    Happy to help you................

Is "the new iPad" worth the money? Or should I just get the iPad 2 since it's $100 cheaper?. . I just want the best option here. If I'm going to spend money, I'd rather buy the better product. Is the new iPad "revolutionary" like Apple says? I want an iPad for school- emails, internet, and of course, some apps. Which gb would you reccomend?. . Also, the whole 4G thing confuses me- if you can explain that to me it'd be much appreciated!. Thanks!. Thanks! You guys are all so helpful!. . The data plans- do they require a contract? As if buying an Apple product wasn't expensive enough! Lol $$$. top new free ipad apps 2012

    * Lock indicates literally safe and protected....!!

    * In the same sense , the lock symbol near wifi indicates it is protected and safe,.....!!

    * The Wifi is Password protected....!

    * Thw wifi access is safe and secured....!!

    * You have to enter the password to get access to Wifi.....!

    * There is no third party access without knowing the password...!!

    * This is signified by the lock symbol there.....!!
