Using ruler for easily formatting paragraphs and texts on iPad?

I heard that ruler buttons can easily change the paragraph styles and fonts to the text. How can I use Pager’s ruler option on my iPad?

The pager’s ruler option is hidden by default. You can reveal the ruler by tapping on the ruler edge which is located beneath the toolbar. Then the ruler will be fully visible. The first button is for applying paragraph style. Then select the desired text and then tap the button. Then a list of available styles will appear. Select the desired style from it. The next three buttons are for fonts. Followed by that is the alignment button. Finally on pressing the tab button it will allow you to add a Tab, Column break, Line break or page break to your document. Select the desired location on the document and press on the tab options to use it on the document. If you want to hide the ruler just click on the X mark at the right side of the ruler.
