Unable to stop downloading TV series via iTunes

While I am using my iPad 2, I start to download TV series via iTunes accidentally. I am not able to stop the downloading process and it does halt my iPad. How can I stop the download in that scenario?

May be the tv serial that you have tried to download is big in size and is taking much of your time

Try restarting the device or reboot it

Hi ,You can stop the downloading any files in ipad.Clear steps given below

---> Tap the Tunes.

---> Go to the downloads where downloads going on.

--- > You will find the STOP option in down to the downloading file.

---> Press stop option.Your TV series downloading files will be stopped.

You can also pause the downloading apps in the same way.

To stop the downloding TV series via iTunes in your ipad

Check Edit->Preferences->Apple TV tab and check the box to prevent Apple TV from syncing automatically. Under the Preferences Store tab I unchecked the box "Automatically download purchased content.

You might try disabling Automatic Downloads in Preferences->Store. I don't know if this will keep you from having to delete TV shows

Follow the below steps to stop downloading TV series via itunes on your iPad
-Open the itunes
-Then fetch the folder where downloads are being done
-Open it
-A file may be in a downloading status
-in the bottom you can have a stop option.
-Simply hit on it your TV series downloading files will be stopped.
In the same way you can stop any sort of downloading's on your iPad

Here is the procedure to stop downloading in iTUNES.


PROCEDURE:


1)Go to the downloads section of iTunes .


2)Now, You will see the downloading in process. Then ,

3)tap on the STOP option below the downloading file.

4)Your downloading will get stop by doing this.

I don't have a Stop button in the download tap of iTunes..

If you can't stop directly videos do below things
Go to the iTunes,
Select the download option,
In download all downloads you will see,
Among them select one what you want to stop.
Press stop button to stop the download.

Sorry dude,

No STOP option at all on my Ipad2, Itunes. I can see the two TV shows trying to download, but no stop button.

I have the same darn problem they forgot to put in stop buttons in iTunes on the iPad. This is especially annoying when you are living off a cellular signal.

--> Open iTunes

--> then fetch the folder where the download is occurring

--> then tap on the folder and open it

--> then there will be a file which is downloading

--> at the bottom there will be stop option

--> tap on it

choose output folder

and select the downloads

then tap to open that folder

there will be a file which is downloading

You can stop the downloading any files in ipad-
- Go to the iTunes and then select the download option
- In download all downloads you will see and among them select one what you want to stop.
- After that press stop button to stop the download.

Stop downloading TV series via iTunes

This is because automatic downloading is enabled by default in your ipad device. This is enabled in the iTunes store option. The download option is available in the app.

Go to the application and choose the downloads option. In the settings, you can turn off the automatic download option in the iTunes application itself.
