Unable to set favorite ring tones in my iPad

Hi, I need to clear a small doubt with my iPad. Whether can we able to set our favorite ringtones in iPad. If so how, because I can’t able to set my favorite ringtones for facetime call,skype call incoming calls and even for alarm. When i try to do am getting a pop-up as error in setting up the selection. What should i do now for fixing this problem, i thought of fixing it myself so any valuable ideas from your side guys.

as far as i know In iTunes, highlight song and on the top menu bar go to STORE > CREATE RINGTONE. As far as I know, you can only do this with songs that were purchased through iTune
i dont know the other option and there r many more options to do this

Follow the below steps for settings the favorite ring tones in your ipad.

---> Tap the home button for appearing home screen.

---> Now tap the music library in your ipad.

---> Go to the tracks and then select the favorite song.

---> After selecting the favorite song press the options.

---> In options select the option Use as.

---> In use as option select and tap the """ use as ring tone """ option.

Now your favorite song is set as ring tone.

Even if favorite song is not selecting as ringtone take the ipad specialist person and set the ringtone.

That's it....

Just follow the step. tap the home button for apperaing home screen. now tap the music library in your ipad. goto tracks and select the favorite song. after selecting song press the option use ar ringtone. then tap it and u have ur ringtone

Hey User Its so simple..

Follow these simple steps to set fev. ringtones in ipad:

For Facetime:

-->Go to the facetime app in finder..

-->Tap on show package content..

-->Under the previous option..tap on content..

-->Under Content u"ll get resource option tap on it..

-->predefined ringtone"ll appear like this " vc~ringtone.aif"..

-->Just replace that with your newer one..

(N.B: it should be in .aif format...otherwise it "ll n't able to open)


* As you want to change Skype incoming tone...Sorry u can use only default tone of skype in newer version...

**In some older version this facility is available...

So for older version try these steps:

Skype> Preferences> Notifications> Overview Tab> Event> Select 'Incoming Call'..

In newer version it may n't work..


*for setting alarm tone follow these steps:

-->Open Clock app from your iPhone Home Screen..

-->Tap edit for making changes in existing alarm or + sign to add a new alarm..


-->From the menu tap on Sound..

-->Now from the iTunes music library tap on your favorite song or melody for selection..

-->Tap back button and then save..

-->Now your alarm tone is set..

Setting favorite ring tone in your iPad is a very easy process.

The steps to be followed are:

--> first go to "Home Screen"

<<>> Then Save it as new MP3

<<>> Import it into itunes

<<>> In itunes go into

@ PREFERENCES

@ ADVANCED

@ IMPORTING


<<>> Right click on the file you want as a Ringtone and Select Convert selection to AAC

So first of all go and turn on your ipad and then just go to the home screen and then tap on the music library in your iPad...After that go to the tracks...And then just select your Favorite song and go to Options...Now at the end just go to the options and just select Use as..And then tap on Use As Ring Tone option...
