Unable to open e-mails via iPad 2 upgraded to IOS 6

I can’t open the e-mails received through mail app on my iPad 2 as the screen remains frozen. I have upgraded the device to IOS 6 few days back. Is there any fix available for this problem?

Bring up the task bar by double tapping the ‘Home’ button for closing the mail app completely from your iPad and restart the device. Tap and hold any icons visible on the task bar until the icon starts to wiggles on the screen. Swipe the task bar to locate the mail app icon and check whether you can see a minus sign on the upper left corner of it. Tap on that sign to quit the mail app. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for few seconds and slide the red slider pop up on the screen to turn off the iPad. To power up the device, you need to hold down the same button until the iPad screen displays the silver Apple Logo. If you can still find the issue, reset your iPad by holding down the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously with your fingers until silver Apple Logo start appearing on the screen.
