    Trouble in forwarding e-mails through mail app on iPad 2

    I have set up two e-mail accounts with my iPad 2 running on IOS 6. When I try to forward a mail received through one account, it will go to outbox but never goes to the recipient. I need to change the sent by address to other account set up on my iPad to forward the mail. What has to be done for fixing up this issue?

    You need to check the settings of SMTP server in your iPad and make sure that they are set up according to the service. The first step required for that is to press the ‘Home’ button available on the bottom middle space of your iPad. Once the home page become visible on the screen, tap the icon labeled ‘Settings’ available over there. This will open up the ‘Settings’ app and display a list of default settings options. Go through that list and tap the ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendar’ option. You can then tap over the account having difficulty in forwarding mails. Press the ‘Account’ button afterwards to view the account settings. Then, you can tap the ‘SMTP’ option and check whether the server is set appropriately.

    4. Then click on settings,

    5. And tap the mail, contacts, calendar option,

    6. And then press the account button,

    7. Here you can tap the SMTP option,

    8. And here check server is set appropriately,

    9. That's it.

    1st-->open the home page from the device.

    2nd-->click the menu option.

    3rd-->select the home button.

    4th-->select the setting option.

    5th-->click the mail ,calender & contact option.

    6th-->tap over the account having difficulty in forwarding mails.

    7th-->Press the Account button to view the account settings.

    8th-->tap the SMTP option and check whether the server is set appropriately.

    +++ Steps to follow to resolve the trouble in forwarding the emails through mail application in ipad 2 device :

    1. First of all close the mail application and check the internet connection working or not.

    2. Now locate the mail application in ipad 2 and open it.

    3. After open enter the account login details and login to your account.

    4. Now find and tap the inbox option.

    5. Here find the emails which you want to forward and open it.

    6. After open move down here you will see the forward option.So,tap it.

    7. After tapping enter the destination address to whom you want to send and tap send option.

    1. First open the home screen.

    2. Then go to the main menu option.

    3. Then go to the home button.

    4. Now click on the settings option.

    5. Then tap on the mail ,calender & contact option.

    6. And now click on the account having difficulty.

    7. Now click on the account button.

    8. Then now click on the SMTP option.

    9. Then check whether the server is set appropriately.

    Dear Aspirant

    I think the problem is with the Browsing Caches and First Try to Remove from the Safari or which browser you have in use

    Try to clear out cache and For this you can just follow the below steps


    <> Make sure to click on the " Home " menu

    <> There by Tap on "Settings "

    <> Now you will find a Browser under the " General " menu

    <> You can just Tap on it and Find a Number of options there

    <> At the bottom of the screen you can see a "Clear cache "

    <> Make all changes I mean to say if you click on "Clear "


    You will avoid the Most of the issue

    If the Problem remains same then Check the working of the SMTP option

    That is all

    To solve this problem follow these steps

    • Go to the home screen of the device
    • Then choose the Settings option
    • Now select the General option
    • Now choose the Mail,Contacts,Calender option
    • Then choose the Account from the list
    • Then select the Account Settings by tapping on Account
    • Now select the SMTP and check the outgoing server settings
    This will solve the problem.

    it is not big problem first of all go to main menu
    and then go to home button
    click on the setting option
    And then tap on the mail ,calender &contact option
    And then click on the account having difficult
    now click on the account button
    Now click on the SMTP option
    and then check weather the server is set appropriately
