Trimming start and end points of imported videos on iPad 2

For doing a power point presentation, I have exported several videos into my iPad 2. Is there any way to edit and trim the starting and ending points of various video clips to make them editable in iPad?

you can do this by using some video editing applications .
there are two apps available for free.
they are 1)Video Editor Free : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/video...450722848?mt=8
2)Splice video editor : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/splic...409838725?mt=8
hope this will satisfies your needs

Below are the two ways of doing it
Choose Edit, Trim.
Click the Trim button (the scissors icon; see below) in the lower-right corner of a video clip thumbnail in the Workspace when viewing your clips in either Thumbnails view or Large Video Clip view

1)first of all you have to do that access your video from either your camera roll in the photos app,or from the camera by tapping the thumbnail after recording a video
2)if you do not see the bar at the top of the screen, tap any where(except on the play button)
3)in the middle of the toolbar at the top of the screen you will see a timeline for your video.the curser in the
middle indicates which part of the video you are watching(or will watch if you hit play).
4)surrounding the timeline is a gray border with ends that have a little handles.tap one of these handles.
5)now the boarder will turn yellow and now you can drag the along your timeline.
6)hold your fingure down on one of the handles to zoom into the timeline for more precision.
7)once you have adjusted your end points as desired, tap the play button to left of the timeline to preview your selection.
8)when it is exactly how you want, now tap trim in upper right hand corner of the screen.
9)now you will then prompted to select trim original or to save as new cilp now you can tap your choice..
