Is there any need to Allow Push Notification in iPad? How to enable Push Notification in iPad?

Often when I install a new App on my iPad I get asked whether I want to allow that App or the service behind it to send me push notifications. So far I have always declined this option but now i want to know the importance of this option. Also i don't know how to activate this option once neglected .

These notifications are just a way for iOS apps to provide alerts and related information.....if using a iOS 5 or later, you can view notifications in the notification center...

there are three types of notifications..
    1. sounds: play an audible alert
    2. alerts/banners: display an alert or banner on the screen
    3. badges: displays an image or number on the application icon

you can view the notification center by swiping down from the top of the screen and can change the notification settings.

    Hi there,

ENABLING the PUSH NOTIFICATION provides you alerts and information related to the app after regular interval of time or when there is any event takes place.

To enable PUSH NOTIFICATION follow the steps mentioned below:

    STEPS:

1)To turn the notifications on, first install an app that supports them.

2)Next, tap the Settings icon, which is on your iPAD homescreen unless you re-arranged it.

3)In Settings, a Notifications menu will be near the top (if you donít see it, you likely donít have an app that supports them). Move the slider to ďOn.Ē

Turning notifications on will reveal the apps on your device that support push notifications.

When youíre done with these settings, youíre done enabling iPhone push notifications.

    Regards!!
