As a first step, make sure that your iPad is currently running on iOS 6. If not, install iOS 6 update into your iPad from settings or iTunes. After that, launch the Maps app and locate the page curl icon. This icon can be found on the bottom right part of the Maps screen. You can view a set of options on the screen while tapping on that icon. Tap on either ‘Hybrid’ or ‘Satellite’ option from that group. Then, pinch to zoom out the screen with your fingers until you can see a globe. If you find the globe is disoriented, tap the ‘Compass’ icon reside at the top part to reorient north. You can then rotate the globe to any direction by simply touching on it.
