Setting up iPad 2 to open a blank page on Safari

Whenever I open a new page through Safari on my iPad 2, I always get the site visited last time. Instead of that, I need to bring up a blank page while opening Safari for the first time. How can I set it up?

Once you open the Safari, locate the address bar. You can find an X icon on the right side of that bar. Tap over that icon and type about:blank into the bar. Press the ‘Go’ button afterwards and hit the ‘Share’ icon. On doing so, a menu will pop up on the screen from which tap the ‘Add to Home Screen’ option. Enter a name for that icon and wait until it gets displayed on the home screen. From then on, you can navigate into the blank page on Safari by tapping on that icon.
