As there is much sensitive information on my iPad 2, I have set up a pass code to unlock it. But, still I am afraid that the data will leak out if it get stolen or lost. I have read somewhere that the iPad will delete its data automatically if someone fails to enter the pass code after several attempts. Is it true? Do I need to make any change in settings for that?

1. Launch home screen,
2. Then select the setting icon,
3. Then click on passcode lock’ option,
4. Then you need to enter four digit passcode,
5. And then you need to find out the erase data option,
6. Then you need to turn ON it,
7. Then you need to click on enable button,
8. That's it.
