Removing a device from Bluetooth paired devices list on iPad 2

I have enabled Bluetooth on my iPad 2 for connecting a Bluetooth wireless keyboard. But, I found an unknown device on the paired devices list pop up on the screen after establishing the connection. I need to remove that device from that list as I am afraid it is a virus. What has to be done for that?

Open the ‘Settings’ app on your iPad by tapping its icon available on the home screen. You can then view a list of settings options on the left and right column of the screen. Go to the left column and tap the ‘Bluetooth’ option. This will bring up the list of Bluetooth paired devices on the screen. Locate the device you want to remove from that list. Hit the blue triangle visible on the right side of the device name. Finally, tap over the ‘Forget this Device’ button available on the pop-up menu.
