    Removing an app from purchased list in iPad 2

    I have recently purchased an app through App Store on my iPad 2. I don’t want to show that app in the purchased list. How can I remove it from that list?

    Re: Removing an app from purchased list in iPad 2

    The first step required for that is to go back to the home page of your iPad. You can do that by simply pressing on the home button. You can also get back to the home page by closing the all tabs which are currently running. The next step required is to find out the ‘App Store’ icon from the home screen. After that, you should make a single tap on that icon. On doing so, you can view ‘purchased’ from the given list of options. By tapping on that option, you can view all the apps in the purchased list. You should take a look on that list and locate the app you want to remove from it. You can then remove that app by simply sliding it.

    Removing an app from purchased list

    Launch the app store application installed in your ipad. Tap on the purchased tab to see a list of apps purchased and installed using your current apple account in ipad.

    Select a desired application and delete the application name from the list using the options. This only removes the app name from the list but won't remove app from the device.

    TIP: Hide Unwanted Purchases on your iTunes Account

    when you purchase any application or anything from application store , it will stored in purchased item list.
    It gives information about your purchased items.
    but some used don't like to view it for their personal purpoes.
    so , In the ipad , you can remove your purchased item from your purchased list in your ipad.

    Remove purchased application from list in ipad

    --> Launch application store
    --> Sign in by entering your Apple Id & Password.
    --> select "Puchased" tab
    --> you will see number of purchased item in application store
    --> swipe on any purchased item , you will see hide button for that purchased item.
    --> Tap on "Hide" & that purchased item will get removed from purchased list as you want.
    similarly , you can remove any purchased item which you want to remove.

    now , if you will tap on "purchased" tab in application store , your removed purchased item will not appear in list.

    None of this works. Tapping or sliding on app in the purchased list doesn't do anything. And I don't see an Options button or menu. I have an ipad2.
