Is it possible to track the important mails received through iPad 2 running on iOS 6?

I used to get lots of e-mails through my e-mail account set up on my iPad 2 updated to iOS 6. I would like to mark important e-mails from it. What should I do for that?

You can use the ‘flag’ feature for tracking important mails. Open the ‘Mail’ app and find out the email you need to flag. Make a single tap over the mail until it gets opened. Go to the lower left corner of the screen afterwards and locate the flag icon. If you need to flag the items in list view, open the inbox and hit the ‘Edit’ button located at the upper-right corner. Locate the ‘Mark’ button from lower right-hand corner and hit either ‘flag’ or ‘Mark as Read/Unread’ option. When you get back to the inbox, you can view an orange flag icon on the screen. Hit that icon for viewing the list of emails flagged recently.
