Is it possible to delete the folders not created by iPad 2 through iTunes?

As I need to transfer a photo folder from my laptop, I have synced it with my iPad 2 through iTunes. But, all folders in the laptop get transferred to my iPad after syncing process instead of a single folder. I read in the manual that it is possible to delete only folders created by iPad through iTunes. Is there any way available to remove these folders from my iPad?

You can remove these folders by unsyncing them with the help of iTunes. As a first step, plug in your iPad to PC and launch iTunes in it. When you can see the iTunes screen, go to the left side bar and click the device name visible under ‘Devices’ option. Navigate into the top part of the iTunes screen and press the ‘Photos’ tab on the right side. Locate the main folder you sync from the laptop earlier. Then, clear the checkbox next to the folders in that folder. After that, click on the ‘Apply’ button located at the lower right corner of the screen.
