Not able to find iPad 2 under iTunes while connecting through Wi-Fi network

I can view my iPad 2 under ‘Devices’ option in iTunes screen only if I connect it physically with PC having iTunes. Even though I have enabled “Sync over Wi-Fi” option in iTunes, I am not able to find the device name while connecting the iPad wirelessly. This issue started happening on my iPad after upgrading it to IOS 6. What are the steps needed to be taken for fixing up this issue?

Reset all the settings in your iPad and restart the router. Then, try to connect iPad wirelessly and check whether it is possible to view the device name. As a first step for resetting the settings, go to the home screen and tap the ‘Settings’ icon. Once you can find the list of default settings options on the screen, navigate into the left side and tap the ‘General’ option. This will bring up the list of general settings options. Scroll through that list and tap the ‘Reset’ option. Finally, make a single tap on the ‘Reset All Settings’ option available on the screen.

:: I think you need to reset your i Pad device.

:: So go to the Home screen by tapping the Home button.

:: After that open the "settings" option from it.

:: Now here select the "General" option.

:: Once it opens ,you select the "Reset".

:: Here you tap "Reset all Settings" on your device.

:: This will fix your problem.
