    Hi friend,

    Due to some common reasons you are facing this lost sound in ipad device. Some of the reasons behind this are

    ---> Due to sound settings of ipad device are kept in mute mode.

    ---> Due to sound settings volume in ipad device is decreased to low.

    ---> Due to sound speakers are damaged physically.

    ---> Due to the media file which you are playing is not have audio file to produce sound.

    +++ Steps to follow to resolve the lost sound in ipad device :

    1. If sound settings are mute in ipad device then unmute it first.

    2. If sound volume is decreased to low then increase to high and check.

    3. Always play the media file which have the audio file to produce sound.

    4. If speakers of the ipad device is damaged or not working then repair it immediately.

    To solve this problem follow these steps

    • First check the sound settings are properly or not
    • Reset the sound settings to its default
    • If this does not solve the problem then restore the device to its default settings
      • Press and hold the power button and then home button for 15 sec
      • Now you will see the recovery screen on your device
      • Then choose the Restore option from there by using the volume keys
      • Then wait for a while to restore the device
    • If this also does not solve the problem then go to the service center to check is there any hard ware problem

    I think your sound due to software or hardware problem.

    So first you can check the following points:-

    1. Check the system sound is not disable.

    2. Check the volume level is not set to zero.

    After checking the pints you need to troubleshot the i Pad:-

    1. Now "Press and hold" the Sleep button with the "Home" button for a few seconds.

    2. After processing the steps you will get a "Apple" logo and see your device complete
    the Hard Reset.

    3. By doing this the all hardware is reset and sound issue become fix.

    System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways.

    The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.

    Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.

    If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.

    Lost Sound in an iPad.

    Follow the steps below--

    -->Open the home page from the device .

    -->Click the menu option.

    -->Select the setting option.

    -->Go to the sound option.

    -->Check the volume is mute or silent .

    -->If yes ,then set the general mode.

    -->Check the sound driver ,if proplem

    -->Then update it by the latest version.

    -->if require then open the menu.

    -->Go to the setting .

    -->Select the privacy option.

    -->Click the factory data reset

    -->Then reset everything .

    -->Finally solve the matter.

    Lost Sound in an iPad. How to fix it?

    I am currently facing a strange issue in my iPad. Now, my iPad doesn't produce sound, when i play any audio or video files. However, sound works properly with an Earphone. I don't know, whether it is a hardware or software problem so need your help. Kindly provide a troubleshooting tutorial.
