My iPad 2 shows an error message "iCloud is not being backed up"?

I have an iPad 2 where i am using an iOS 6. However, it always flashes an error message "iCloud is not being backed up". I have followed the correct procedure for backing up. For doing this, i navigated to settings>>iCloud>>Storage and Backup>>Backup Now. However, I am getting the same error message all the time. What should i do

    Dear Friend

Make sure to "Reboot " your iPad Safely

For this you will need to do is Press and Hold down the "Sleep /Wake up Button " until you can get a "Logo "

Then you can wait for Few More minutes

Thus you can Reboot your device by doing this you will get a Default settings on your ipad

So try to make use of this process

After that you have to do the Same Backup procedure as you did before

<> like Go to Click on the "Home " and then "settings " option

    <> Under the " General " option you will find a " i Cloud "

<> There you will find " storage and Backup " option

<> Now Click on the "Backup "option

    That is all

    Good luck
