    Making Google Chrome as the default search engine in iPad2

    I would like to make Google Chrome as the default search engine in my iPad2. Please give the steps for doing it.

    You can easily change the default search engine on your iPad2 to Google Chrome. Perform the following steps to change it.
    • First of all move to settings page
    • Then tap on the current browser
    • There you will find an option search engine
    • Tap on Add new search engine in the set up
    • Then finally choose your preferred search engine and save the changes

    You can change the search engine in ipad and you can make it as default also.

    +++ Steps to set default search engine in ipad :

    1. Go to the home screen by taping the home button.

    2. Now tap the settings.

    3. Open the present browser which you are using currently.

    4. Type the search engine which you want to set on search field.

    5. After searching press add new asearch engine in set up options.

    6. Al last conform the default option.

    yes it is possible you can change the default search engine on your ipad2 to google chrome.these are following some steps...
    1.unlock the homescrean .
    2.go to settings.
    3.tap on the settings .
    4.open the current web browser .
    5.add new search engine .
    6.check the it is default or not ...

    Making Google Chrome as the default search engine in iPad2

    first launch the cydia.now tap on the manage tab.now tap on source.now tap on edit button on right hand side top which is followed by the add button.now here enter the url of the Ryan's repository.now tap on add source button.now tap on return to cydia button when prompted.now tap on the search tab and now search for browser chooser .now select browser google from search results.then tap on the install button of the google chrome and which is followed by confirm button.and finally now launch the setting app and navigate to browser chooser settings and select the chrome as your default broser on ipad.

    Google Chrome as the default search engine in iPad2 :

    - - > First of all go to your iPad home screen,

    - - > And then tap the settings icon.

    - - > And then navigate Safari settings,

    - - > And then to the General section.

    - - > After that tap the Search Engine in General section.

    - - > Now it will display list of available search engine.

    - - > Now you need to tap the Google search engine in the displayed list.

    Safari - Default one

    Safari is the default web browser in the apple devices. we cannot change the default settings in the locked apple device. Google chrome can be installed and used in the device.

    You need to jail break the device to remove safari and set google chrome as the default web browser. Cydia app can be used to jail break the operating system in the device

    To have the google chrome as default web browser, these are the steps.
    Go to home screen and open the web browser that you are using at present and select search engine. Now, select "add new search engine" and choose google chrome for that. Finally, save and exit. That's it. You are done.
