Re: Key difference between Wi-Fi only iPad and Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad

Wi-Fi only iPads can connect only to Wi-Fi networks. It can’t access the 3G network. It is also possible to join these types of iPads with Wi-Fi hotspot. You can set up the hotspot on iPhone and connect it with a Wi-Fi only iPad. Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad supports Cellular Data apart from Wi-Fi. Therefore, you can connect a Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad with 3G network. It won’t show you ‘Not Subscribed to Cellular Data’ message while inserting a SIM with 3G data connection.

Re: Key difference between Wi-Fi only iPad and Wi-Fi + Cellular iPad

" Wi-Fi cellular iPad " can connect to Wi-Fi and even it supports Cellular data also.

So you can connect a Wi-fi + Cellular iPad with 3G network.

Where as the " Wi-Fi only iPad " can connect only to Wi-Fi networks.

Wi-Fi only iPad cannot access the 3G network.

We also also join Wi-Fi only iPad's with a Wi-Fi hot spot

this is the key difference between Wi-Fi only iPad and Wi-Fi Cellular iPad.

    Hope it helps you.
