    Dear friend,

The ipad 100% supports the JPEG files. If it is not recognizing the this files from SD card then the problem with SD card or PC only.

---> Try to re insert the SD card and try to view the JPEG files again.

---> Once restart the ipad and try to view the JPFG files now.

---> I think files not copied to your PC completely.

---> may be because of virus entered into the PC or ipad.

+++ Other files supporting by ipad are :

    1. JPEG.

    2. JPG.

    3. .PNG.

    4. .JIF etc.

that format will be supported by Ipad. So nothing to worry simply reconfigure the pictures by connecting the Ipad to the Itunes which is installed in the computer. Now simply using the Photo Menu upload all the pictures in to same place of the Ipad.

This will be stored in the Internal memory of the Ipad so it first takes times to get synchronized and then it will be available in the Gallery. All the best.

I had the same problem but then solved. In addition to the replies, check the file names of photos: All file names must be 8 characters without any space.

Reminder: The files must be in a folder named DCIM. If not, create a new folder, name it as DCIM and copy all your files in that folder.

When I changed the file names to have 8 characters only, in DCIM folder in the sd card, I managed to transfer those files vi Camera Connection Kit into ipad 3.
