Re: iPad headphone jack not working properly?

There could be a lot of reasons why your headphone is not working properly. First point that you must check is if the headset is working. You need to connect it to a different audio system to check if it works. Next, you must check if you are able to hear with built in speakers. If you are not, then most probably the mute button would be turned on or the volume out have been reduced to the bare minimum. You also need to make sure that the headphone is properly pushed in and also that there is no dirt or dust deposited in the headphone jack. If still the problem persists, you need to try with different headphones and check if it is working or not. If not, then you need to take it to an Apple store and check that up.

The headphone jack of the ipad may not work poperly while playing the music and you can not hear the sound clearly with that problem it is better that you can go to the servicing centre of the apple and then you can enjoy the music well with the headphones.

Re: iPad headphone jack not working properly?

    CHECK ALL THESE ASPECTS FIRST:-

    - Check the headset of iPad if it is working properly or not.
    - Check the volume control option. Increase your volume level if it is reduced.
    - Check that if the mute option is enabled or not? If enabled, then disable it.
    - Check that head phone is working correctly or not.. Any dirt must not be deposited in the jack of the headphone.
    - If after checking all these, still problem persists then contact to Apple support.
    - Or go to Apple store to check up it.

make sure that the jack is properly connected and your volume controls are fine as usual and also check your headphones with any other device so as to confirm the problem. furthur check if the mute button is on-turn it off. if still the problem persists, try resetting and successively reboot of your device. if you're not able to get any solution, do contact the APPLE INC. service center. however you'll have to contact the service center if any one of the two-iPad or headphones are damaged.
