iPad 3 prompts to improve the security of Apple ID while downloading app from App Store

Every time I try to install an app from App Store into my iPad 3 running on IOS 6, I can view a pop-up box along with a message saying “Improve your Apple ID security”. It gives me two options viz ‘Not Now’ and ‘Continue’. If I tap on ‘Not Now’, the pop-up will disappear without showing any noticeable issues. In case I make a single tap on ‘Continue’ option, it will ask for Apple ID and password even after entering them several times. How can I fix up this issue?

Log out from your iTunes account and reboot your iPad with the help of Sleep/Wake button. After that, sign into your account again and see whether the issue still persists on your iPad. As a first step, tap the ‘Settings’ option available on the home screen. Once you can see the list of all default settings, hit the ‘iTunes & App Store’ option. Tap over the ‘Apple ID’ option afterwards so that you can hit your ID and select the ‘Sign Out’ option. Your iPad can be turned off by moving the red slider pop up on the screen after pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button. Repeat the same action on Sleep/Wake button until you can see the Apple Logo to turn on your iPad. Navigate through Settings->iTunes & App Store afterwards and tap the ‘Sign in’ option for logging into your account again.
