iPad 2 taking time to delete the apps

My iPad 2 does show the X symbol while holding down the apps for deletion. But if I tap on that symbol, the confirmation message pop up after 20 or 30 seconds. How can I avoid this delay?

Reset your iPad with the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for avoiding this delay. Go to the top part of the iPad hardware to locate the Sleep/Wake button while Home button can be found the bottom middle part. At first, press these buttons at the same time with your fingers. Then, hold down them for about 10-15 seconds. Do not let go of the buttons while you see the red slider on the screen. By the time you can view the Apple Logo, release the buttons and wait until you can see the home page. After that, select an app icon and check whether it is possible to delete it without any delay.

    1) Reset All settings

    2) Reset Network settings

    3) Reset Home Screen Layout

    4) Reset Location warning

    5) Erase All content and setting

Now your i Pad is fresh now.
