iPad 2 showing “device not backed up over Wi-Fi” message on frozen screen

When I turn on my iPad 2 yesterday, I have encountered an error message saying “the device has backed up over Wi-Fi for 3 weeks” on the screen. I can’t go to another page or any applications yet as the screen stops responding to my touch. How can I get rid of this error message?

Go to the top part of the iPad hardware and locate the ‘Sleep/Wake’ button. Then, navigate through the bottom part and find out ‘Home’ button. Now move your fingers over these buttons after that and press them at the same time. Do not lift up the fingers afterwards and hold the buttons for about 10-15 seconds. The red slider will become visible on iPad screen during this time period. Do not pay attention to that slider and keep holding down the buttons in the proper position. Let go off both buttons when the Apple Logo appears on the screen and check for the error message on reaching home page.
