iPad 2 says “username and password incorrect for Facetime” since IOS 6 upgrade

After upgrading my iPad 2 to IOS 6, I am having trouble in signing into FaceTime app. When I make an attempt to get into the app, it will display the message “username or password is incorrect”. Is there any way to correct this issue?

Navigate through the icons visible on the home screen first after pressing the ‘Home’ button. Once you can find the ‘Settings’ icon, make a single tap on it. Choose the ‘General’ option available in the settings list. After that, tap over the ‘App Store’ option and hit your Apple ID. This will bring up a menu from which tap the ‘View Apple ID account’. Get into the ‘Payment process’ section afterwards and choose ‘None’ from the options given under ‘type of card’. Save the changes made by pressing the ‘Save’ button and then try to sign into FaceTime.

:: After that, open the "settings" panel.

:: Then select the "General" option in it.

:: Under it select the "apps store" and then press the Apple id.

:: Once it open press the "View Apple ID account" where you see the "payment" option .
