iPad 2 says ‘Unable to join network’ even after displaying the network

When I turn on Wi-Fi after going to settings in my iPad 2, it shows the network active. But, it will show “Unable to join network” message while making an attempt to connect my iPad with that network. Why is it happening and is there any fix available for this problem?

Power off your iPad by sliding the red slider comes up on screen while holding down the Sleep/Wake button. You can then turn it on again by holding down the same button until you can view Apple Logo on the screen. If this solution does not help to solve the issue, then perform a hard reset on your iPad by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together till the iPad screen displays silver Apple Logo. You can unplug the router from power source for 30 seconds and connect it again to resolve the issue. Another solution available to fix this problem is to forget the network and restart your iPad. Get into ‘Settings’ app for that and hit the ‘Wi-Fi’ option. Then, you need to tap on your network name and see whether it is possible to view a blue arrow next to network name. Tap on that arrow and select ‘Forget this Network’ option from the pop-up menu.

    Trouble shoots:

:: Check whether the WiFi router is ON or not.

:: Also check your WiFi network is enabling or not.

:: Try to reboot your device and then check wifi is working.

:: Otherwise reset the all network settings from the settings panel:

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

:: Also try this move into “Settings” >”WiFi” > “Forget this Network’.

:: Else soft reset your device:

    Soft Reset:

:: Just "press and hold" the Sleep options until you get a slider on an i Pad screen.

:: And then drag the slider.

:: After that "press and hold" the Sleep options until you get a "Apple" logo on a i Pad screen.
