You can get over this issue by performing a hard reset on your iPad. For that, you need to first locate your iPad’s Sleep/Wake and Home buttons. Hold down both these buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds after pressing them together. In between this period of time, you can view a red slider on your screen. Just ignore the slider and keep holding those buttons without moving to an inch from the previous position. Once you can see the Apple Logo on your iPad screen, you can release both buttons from your fingers. When the home page appears on the screen check whether the message has disappeared and you can access the iPad settings.

Hard Reset:
:: Just "Press and hold" the Sleep button with the "Home" button for a few seconds.
:: After processing the steps you will get a "Apple" logo and see your device complete the Hard Reset.
:: This will erase everything from the device.
Excellent!!! I just tried this and it resolved my problem. Thanks
