Internet connection too slow on iPad 2 upgraded to IOS 5.1.1

Whenever I try to access internet through Safari on my iPad 2 running on IOS 5.1.1, I found the internet connection very slow. I need to refresh the Safari many times to make the connection fast. What has to be done for improving the connection speed?

Unplug your USB cable from your iPad and connect the other end to the PC. After that, launch the iTunes on your PC. Then, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button until it get turned off. Release the Sleep/Wake button after that and continue to hold the Home button. At that position, connect your iPad to PC. Do not release the Home button until iTunes detect your iPad is in recovery mode. Then, exit your iPad from recovery mode and check whether the issue still persists or not. To quit the recovery mode, hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together for 15 seconds so as to turn off your iPad. Then, boot up your iPad by pressing the Sleep/Wake button.

    1. Speed connection depends on the router or connection provider, that how much signal
    is provide.

    2. If you feel your device having low internet speed then you need to reset the network
    settings.

    3. You can also clear the unwanted data like cache or history and plugins from the
safari browser because this will take to decrease the speed.
