How to use ‘Wi-Fi Sync’ feature on iPad 2 to sync data items with iTunes?

Even though I can sync data items in my iPad 2 with iTunes without any issues, I want to use ‘Wi-Fi Sync’ feature for wireless transfer. What should I do for that?

As a first step, plug in your iPad with PC using a compatible USB cable. Open iTunes in it and navigate into the left pane of the iTunes screen. Click on the name of your iPad shown under ‘Devices’ option available. Go to that top part of the iTunes screen and press the ‘Summary’ tab. Select the check box reside near ‘Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi’ until a tick mark appears on it. Press the ‘Apply’ button located at the bottom part of the screen. Wait for a minute and unplug your iPad from the PC. You can then make the wireless transfer by tapping the ‘Sync Now’ button under Settings ->General -> iTunes Wi-Fi Sync.
