How to get rid of purple streaks from iPad 2?

For the past few weeks, I am seeing purple streaks on the screen of my iPad 2. It is not going away even after restarting my iPad. What else should I do to avoid this?

Perform a hard reset on your iPad which can remove these streaks from the screen. Go to the top and bottom part of the iPad and find out the ‘Sleep/Wake’ and ‘Home’ buttons. Once you locate these buttons, make a single press on both of them at the same time. Hold down these buttons afterwards without lifting up the fingers from the press for about 10-15 seconds. Ignore the red slider pop up on the screen in between this time period. When the iPad screen displays the Apple Logo, you can stop holding down the buttons. By the time you can view the home page, check whether the purple streaks get disappeared from the iPad screen.

:: Then go General > > Reset option >> Reset Home Screen Layout.

:: Now check whether the purple streaks get disappeared on the i Pad screen or not.
