How to delete individual website history in Safari on iPad 2?

I used to delete web history saved into Safari on my iPad 2 by tapping the ‘Clear Cookies and Data’ button. But, it will erase the links of all websites visited through Safari. I need to retain the history of some websites. What should I do to delete website data individually?

Re: How to delete individual website history in Safari on iPad 2?

As a first step, press the ‘Home’ button resides at the bottom middle part of iPad hardware. Once you can view the home page, hit the ‘Settings’ icon available over there. This will list the settings options on the left and right column on the screen. Tap the ‘Safari’ option available in that list. By the time you get into Safari settings, hit the ‘Advanced’ option located at the bottom part. You can then find ‘Website Data’ option on the screen. Make a single tap over that option for showing up the list of websites browsed through Safari. You can then delete the websites individually by swiping over it and hitting the minus sign.

I just want to say this did not work. It literally still shows in history for me. Even after restarting; it only the deleted the data from the site not remove it from history. I have been searching the web all night trying to figure out how to delete certain site from HISTORY and not just the sites data without deleting all my history. Site still shows on history list and as a suggestion.
