How to create mail folders on iPad?

I have a brand new iPad 3 and is using it from last couple of months.I am trying to create a mail folder on it but not able to do that. After searching on internet,I found articles suggesting me to go to Mailboxes and then "Edit" and then "Add new Mailbox".It looks simple but in original I am not able to find any Edit button. Can you say, what is going wrong and what should I do to create mail folders on my iPad?

Steps to create email folders on iPad

    * Make sure your email account type is an Exchange or IMAP. If your account type is POP, you don't have the ability to make folders.

    * On your iPad, go to the mail app and tap on your email account. Tap on the edit button at the upper right of the screen. When the New mailbox button appears at the bottom of the inbox window, tap it to create another mailbox folder.

u can creat folder on i pad by doing folloing step

You can create email folders in Mail on the iPad.

It requires that the email be an IMAP account (iCloud, gMail, Yahoo, AOL, etc)

You then need to go to

    Mailboxes,

    Choose the Account,

Then in the top Right corner

    Edit

    Then Bottom Right Corner

    New Mailbox

Enter a Name, Choose a Location and Save

Then you can move emails to that Mailbox!
