How to create Keyborad shortcuts for commonly used Words for iPad3 keyboard?

I mostly write emails from my iPad and needs a lot of very common phrases like "Good Morning",Have a Nice Day", My friend told me that I can create Keyboard shortcuts for these common Phrases. Please brief me on creating Keyborad shortcuts for commonly used Words for iPad3 keyboard??
