How can iPad 1 be backed up from restore?

I have upgraded my iPad 1. Unfortunately, before the update, I didn’t have it backed up but rather had it synced. Hence I have lost all my data. I had heard of the restore back up option but I’m not familiar on how to get it done. How can I get it done now?

I get it that you had your iPad synced with iTunes though you did not have made a back up. You would be able to retrieve your data with the restore from back up option. This can be done by connecting your iPad with iTunes. But before doing so, open the ‘iTunes’ page on iPad and select ‘Preferences’ from it. On the preferences page, select ‘Devices’ and then enable or check the option for preventing sync of iPads, iPhones and iPods automatically. After this connect to iTunes by connecting to computer and opening it. On right clicking on the icon of your iPad you will get an option for ‘restore from backup’.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Steps to follow:

:: First you need to connect your i Pad with PC.

:: Then open the iTunes and wait for detecting the i pad in iTunes.

:: After detecting the device tap on "Summary”, and select the "Restore"
option from the i OS version.

:: Now select the "Backup" option and restore the device.

:: Now successfully restore your device.

    Done

Re: How can iPad 1 be backed up from restore?

You ca retrieve the data with restore from backup option.
iColud and iTunes both will back up data in ipad.
iColud will back up data automatically the IOS 5 or more
Previous purchases will not be there if they are not in app store or iTunes store or iBookstore.
To restore the backup follow these simple steps

    • Go to the set up Assistance
    • Then choose the option Restore from iCloud Backup
    • Now enter the ID and password
    • Then select the Settings
    • Now select the option General
    • Then choose Reset
    • Then select Erase all the content and settings
    • Then select the option restore from the iCould backup
    • Now your device will restart

    That's it
