The problems of slow working of the ipad may be with viruses and the files used in the ipads so to operate your very fast then you have first delete all those virus effected files and the software problem so you need to restore all the settings of your ipad to solve this type of problem.

the very first thing is virus scan that you must do. get all your viruses deleted from time to time, and if required you can format your device.
don't download a large number of apps-just keep the useful ones.
as your backup, restore is slow, so to do the processes, connect your iPad via USB.
finally restart both the devices and get going.
    all the best.
