How to avoid bricking on iOS 5 upgrade in my iPad?

Sometimes Apple servers get slammed when we try to upgrade to the iOS 5. The devices seemed to be bricked and locked with a spinning wheel. How can I revert my iPad back to the old OS?

Just start the iTunes latest version on your computer. Then hard reset the device by holding and pressing the sleep and wake up button simultaneously. And release it when the phone restarts. Then hold down the home button and connect with the computer through a USB cable. Hold the home button till the “Connect the iTunes” message will appear on the screen. iTunes will ask if you want to restore your device. If you want click on the Restore and then select Restore from Back up. And then wait for sometime before the system update.

I think you need to restore the i Pad,this back your old i OS.

:: For that first you need to connect your i Pad with PC.

:: Then open the iTunes and wait for detecting the i pad in iTunes.

:: After detecting the device tap on "Summary”, and select the "Restore" option from the i OS version.

:: Now select the "Backup" option and restore the device.

:: And this will back to your old i OS.

    Done
