    HBO GO app not working properly on iPad 2 after iOS 6.0 update

    It is not possible to play videos via HBO GO app on my iPad 2 since upgrading it to iOS 6.0. Whenever I make an attempt, I will get an error message saying “your current HTTP Proxy not supported. Remove from Wi-Fi settings to enable video playback”. How can I get rid of this problem with the app?

    Press the ‘Home’ button located at the bottom middle part of the hardware and wait until the home page pop up on the screen. Browse through the icons displayed there and make a single tap over ‘Settings’ option. When you can view the list of settings options on the screen, go to the left pane and hit the ‘Wi-Fi’ option. Locate the Wi-Fi network to which your iPad is connected. You can view a blue arrow near that network. Tap on it for viewing the settings of that network. Find out ‘HTTP Proxy’ label from those settings and press the ‘OFF’ button under that.

    You can allow this HBO apps from the restriction settings.

    :: So go to the Home screen by tapping the Home button.

    :: After that, open the "settings" panel.

    :: Then select the "General" option in it.

    :: Now press the "Restrictions" option and tap to "Allow" the content.

    :: Now you easily use the HBO apps on your device.

    The steps to be followed are:

    --> Navigate to " Home Screen "

    --> Then tap on " Settings "

    --> Then select " WiFi " settings

    --> Then tap on the " Blue Arrow "

    --> Then find out " HTTP Proxy " label

    --> Then toggle it to OFF mode.

    thus it is done.

    Hi,
    I'm having the strangest problem with the HBO GO app on my iPad 2. The app icon is gone and the search reveals nothing, but when I go to the App Store (or Settings and scroll down to the list), it acts as if the app is still on my iPad. When I click the 'Open' button in the App Store, there's no reaction. I can't figure out any way to remove and reinstall the app! I've tried the reset where you hold the Home button and the On/Off button together and reboot... no change. I've tried plugging into my desktop and syncing in iTunes... no change.
    Any ideas?

    dear friend
    it is not big problem so please try these step
    First of all navigate to home screen
    And then tap on the setting
    After this select the WIFI setting
    And then tap on the blue arrow
    And then find out HTTP proxy label
    And then toggle it to OFF mode

    I am suggested to you is that you have update the this apps after that you got the solution of your problem::::::::::::::::>>>>>>>>>>

    * First of all go to the main menu

    * Then go to the setting icon

    * Then go to the manage apps

    * Then select the HBO GO apps

    * Then tap on the option

    * Then tap on the update

    * After that tap on done

    * Now restart your device
