    Getting an error "ax.init.itunes.com:80" when trying to log into iTunes

    I don't know, whether someone has asked this question earlier or not. I am facing this problem so asking it here. I am an iPad 1 user. Whenever i try to log into iTunes, i get an error message "ax.init.itunes.com:80" followed by another message i.e "Password will be sent to" with a textbox which asks me to enter my EMail ID. Do i need to perform a factory reset?
