Getting ‘server connection failed’ message while accessing Exchange mail through iPad 2 upgraded IOS 6

After upgrading my iPad 2 to IOS 6, I am not able to check the Exchange mail account set up on it. When I try for that, I keep getting the error message “cannot get mail the connection to the server failed”. Is there any way available to get rid of this message?

Get into the home screen of my iPad and tap the ‘Settings’ icon available over there. The next step required is to navigate through the left pane of the settings list and hit the ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ option. Then, you need to select the ‘Exchange’ option under ‘Accounts’ section. Once you enter into the exchange account, tap at the end part of the username. Press the ‘Done’ button located at the top part of the screen. Go back to the exchange screen and hit the ‘Done’ button available there. Finally, login to the exchange mail and check whether you can find any issues.
