Getting ‘Archive’ button while swiping over mails received via iPad 2

Whenever I try deleting mails received through ‘Mail’ app on my iPad 2 by swiping, the ‘Archive’ button appears instead of ‘Delete’ button. This issue started happening since upgrading it to iOS 4. How can I resolve this problem?

Locate the icon for ‘Settings’ app from home screen and tap on it for launching the app. This will show up a list of settings options on the right and left column of the screen. Get into the left column and tap the ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ option. Then, select the mail account which exhibits the problem. You can then view the settings of that account in the form of a short menu. Navigate through that menu until you can find ‘Archive Messages’ item. After that, toggle the switch reside at the right side of that item into ‘OFF’ mode.
