If downloaded books get disappeared from kindle app RESTART the ipad.All disappeared books will be visible.
If not visible re-download the books again.

Dear friend, Downloaded book get disappeared from kindle app. then immeditaley switch off your ipad. and then restart it again. after that book will visible into your ipad. and still book get disappeared then re-download it again. hope this info help you
