Controlling the podcast playback speed in iPad?

Can anyone tell me how the podcast playback speed can be managed in iPad? What speeds are available in iPad?

Yes you can see different speed option in the Podcast application. The first thing you have to do is to tap on the button that denotes ‘1x’. Then you will have to tap on this option again for changing the speed. Tapping on the ‘2x’ button will play the track at double speed. Tapping on the ‘1/2 x’ button will half the speed of the track being played in iPad. Finally if you tap on the ‘1x’ button again, you can see that the track will start playing at normal speed. It has to be noted that you can set options for music by navigating towards ‘Settings’ and then selecting the option denoted as ‘Music’. This is how you can adjust the podcast playback speed in iPad.

If you press 2x then this will play the track with double speed.
Like wise 1/2x will reduce the speed to half.
& at 1x the track will play at normal speed.

just all you have to do is goto the podcast app and tap on the 1x button for normal speed, 1/2x for decreasing the speed of the playing file to half, or 2x to double the speed.
