It was possible to play VDO clips inside podcast app on my iPad 3 even if I close the SmartCover. But this feature won’t work with the iPad since I upgraded to iOS 6.1.3. The clip will be paused whenever I close the SmartCover during the playback. Is there any way option to resolve this issue?

First of all, pause the VDO clip played through Podcast app. Then, switch into the home screen of your iPad. Slide the home screen for bringing up the multitask panel. Swipe your fingers over the panel to the right side. You can then find ‘Play’ button over the panel. By the time you find that button, make a single tap on it. After that, close the ‘SmartCover’ and see whether the clips get paused or not.
You need to reset the settings so that it set to default settings.
:: Reset the all settings.
:: Open the "settings" option from it.
:: Now here select the "General" option.
:: Once it opens, you select the "Reset".
:: Here you tap "Reset all settings" on your device.
