Power off and on your iPad with the help of Sleep/Wake button. Keep on holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears on the screen. The iPad will be turned off while moving that slider. Hold down the same button till you can view the Apple Logo. If this does not work, press both Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together. Ignore the red slider and wait until the Apple Logo become visible on the screen. If you can’t resolve the problem with a reset, then restore your iPad through iTunes. Connect your iPad to PC before launching iTunes in it. Click on device name under ‘Devices’ option in iTunes screen. Press the ‘Summary’ tab and click on the ‘Restore’ button at the bottom part.
