    Cannot delete apps since upgrading iPad 2 to IOS 6

    Normally, I would delete the apps on my iPad 2 by tapping the ‘X’ mark on the icon after holding it for few seconds. But after updating my iPad to IOS 6, I can’t view such a mark on the icon even if I hold it for hours. Now how can I delete them?

    There is a chance for having restriction on deleting apps from iPad. If so, disable the restrictions from settings and check whether it resolves the issue. For that, you need to first press the ‘Settings’ from the home page. Once you get into the settings app, go to left pane and tap the ‘General’ option. Scroll through the general settings list and hit the ‘Restrictions’ option. Locate the ‘Deleting Apps’ item afterwards and see whether there is a toggling switch next to it. If that switch displays ‘ON’ label, then slide it until it show ‘OFF’ label.

    This problem generally occurs when there the restriction is turned ON>

    To turn it OFF the steps to be followed are:

    --> Navigate to " Settings "and tap on it

    --> Then select " General " settings

    --> Then tap on " Restrictions " option

    --> Then select " Delete Apps " item

    --> there you can Toggle it to OFF

    Thus it is done.

    Hope it helps you.
