Browsing history missing from Safari app in iPad 2 running on IOS 6

Whenever I use Safari with my iPad 2 running on IOS 6, I have noticed that the browsing history is not saved in it. When I open the history page, it displays only a blank screen. How can I restore browsing history on my iPad?

You may have enabled private browsing on your iPad. Disable it and check the history again. For that, you need to first browse through the icons visible on home screen and tap the ‘Settings’ icon. Once your iPad displays the main settings list on the screen, tap the ‘Safari’ option available in the left pane. You can thus view the Safari settings on your iPad. Navigate through that settings and find out the ‘Private Browsing’ item. There is a toggling switch near to that item. Slide that switch until it turns into ‘OFF’ mode.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1. Try to restart the device.

    2. After that you can launch the safari and see the history tap come or not.

    3. If again not seen then reinstall the safari apps.

    4. Else you can install the latest safari apps.
